Benefits under the scheme
- Every year 5500 eligible candidates will be benefitted from this scheme and scholarships are distributed equally among boys and girls (ie 2750 each)
- Amount offered to girls per month for a year is 3000 and 2500 for boys respectively.
- The duration of the scholarship is purely based on the duration of the course the student has selected.
Who all are eligible?
- The applicant must be a child of a dependent ward/widow of deceased CAPFs & AR/ Ex-CAPFs & AR/ retired and serving CAPFs & AR/ State Police Personnel.
- Open for Indian candidates who hold a 10+2/diploma/graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates should have taken admission in the first year (except lateral entry and integrated courses) of a professional degree course.
Documents required
The following documents are required to apply for the PM Scholarship 2022
- Serving Certificate (in case of serving personnel) issued by HOO
- Certificate issued by the concerned state government indicating that the State Police personnel was killed in Naxal /Terror attacks
- Certificate of Minimum Educational Qualification (MEQ) as applicable – Class 12th mark sheet, Graduation mark sheet (for all years) or diploma mark sheets (for all semesters)
- PPO/Discharge Certificate/Book (Mandatory for Category A to F)
- Death Certificate (Applicable for deceased personnel)
- Disability Certificate (Applicable for disabled personnel)
- Certificate of Gallantry Award (Applicable for Gallantry Award winners)
How to apply for PM Scholarship 2022?
We have made the procedures simple. Following are the steps to submit the applications successfully.
- Click here or navigate to scholarships.gov.in
2. This will be the page that is going to be displayed
3. Click on New Registration
4. A window with all the instructions appears. Read all the instructions carefully and click Continue
5. Register yourself in the upcoming screen
6. Enter the OTP so that the user id and password will be sent to you.
7. Login using the credentials sent to you
8. Fill up the application form
9. Upload the required documents
10. Click submit
For fresh login
- Open the homepage of the portal
- Click on the fresh login option by selecting the year of your choice.
3. Enter the credentials for login and submit the application.
JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarships
JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarships are mainly for Indian students who are willing to pursue full-time Postgraduate/Ph.D./Postdoctoral studies abroad. The amount awarded as the loan scholarship ranges between Rs.1,00,000/- and Rs.10,00,000/- Students who are selected for their loan scholarship are entitled to receive a ‘Travel Grant’. And a gift award that is directly linked to their academic performance.
Please note that the last date to submit the application is on March 28, 2022.
Registration forms also will be available till March 21, 2022
Who all are eligible for the Scholarship?
- Candidates should be Indians, not older than 45 years as of 30th June 2022, and have completed at least one undergraduate degree OR who are in the final year of any undergraduate program at a recognized university/college/institution in India.
- Candidates who are at the end of the 1st year and entering into the second year of their overseas studies (Fall 2022 – Spring 2023) are also eligible to apply
- Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks on average in their undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
- The course to which candidates are admitted must be recognized as a Graduate Program (post-graduate in Indian terminology).
How to apply for the JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarships?
- Click here or visit the site jntataendowment.org and tap on the “Click to apply” button
2. You will be taken to this page, if you are an already registered user you can log in using your Email Id and Password
3. New User please fill the registration form with required details and finally click on the “Register” button
4. After successful registration, a one-time password will be sent to the registered email I.D. which will be valid for 48 hours.
5. Candidates can log in using their registered email I.D. and password to proceed further.
6. Fill it offline and submit it from the same email id as mentioned in the application form along with the scanned copy of the letter of recommendation (LOR).
